Located on the first floor of the Minamiza Theater, the birthplace of kabuki, our combined retail and café space has been created for the enjoyment of theater-goers and sightseers alike. The design features white tones, curves throughout, and a coved ceiling as found in the theater itself. In addition to yokan and seasonal fresh Japanese sweets, visitors are invited to delight in specialty items such as Kinako Anmitsu, a traditional Japanese dessert featuring toasted soybean powder flavor, and Kuzu-Azuki Kan, a subtly sweet layered jelly.
